Vegas Bound

I am heading to Vegas for a Girls Weekend for Mother's Day with my Bestie Renee.  We haven't seen each other in about 9 years, so needless to say, we have a lot of catching up to do.  While we are in town, I have a trip to the new High Roller Ferris Wheel at The Linq planned.  It is 550 feet tall and is the world's largest observation wheel.  It looks incredible and the views of Vegas are said to be breathtaking.  The trip around takes about 30 minutes.  I can't wait to check it out for the first time.

I am also looking for other things to do.  Renee has never been to Vegas and I want to show her as much as possible.  This is where I need your help.  We want to go see Britney.  But I need ideas of other things we should do while we are there. What do you suggest for a Vegas first timer??

I would love to try out the X Burlesque University at the Flamingo.  They teach you the moves of a burlesque dancer with feather boas and all.  I also think the Zombie Burlesque show at Planet Hollywood looks like it would be amazing.

And then of course, there is the food.  No trip to Vegas is complete without a stop at a Gordan Ramsey Restaurant.  The hot dogs at BurGR are crazy good.  But then again, don't you have to stop at a Buffet while you are in town??  Which buffet do you think is a can't miss??  Share your great ideas from Vegas and let me know if there is somewhere you would like me to try while I am there and I can tell you if it is a FIND or a FORGET.

Hair Removal Made Easy???

Maximum smoothness with minimum hassle.  Sounds good to me, but can it be true.  In the case of Nair Shower Power Max, I am still not sure.  The commercial came on the other day while Isabella and I were catching up on our Real Housewives drama so we decided to try it out.  I have used Nair in the past but not this particular product.  It comes in a convient pump bottle with a sponge that is smooth on one side and bumpy on the other.  The directions say that you smooth it onto your dry legs, let it set for one minute, and then jump into the shower and start your bathing routine, with the cream still on.  The formula can withstand the water, but just not a direct stream.  I tried to do it, but I couldn't.  Once you put the lotion on, it seems to dry into your legs.  But once I got in the shower, I was super aware of the fact that I had it on and couldn't figure out how not to get the water directly on it.  The directions say to let it stay on for at least 2 minutes but no longer than 10.  I think I made it to 2 1/2 minutes, but then I needed to take it off.  You use the bumpy side of the sponge and watch the hair come right off.  This didn't happen for me.  Now, it wasn't a total bust.  I do see some of the hair on my leg gone, but there is still a lot left.  I am willing to try it again though.  I think next time I will leave it on for 5 minutes outside of the shower and then jump in and start to take it off.  I would call this product a Try Again.

Have you used Nair Shower Power??  How were your results??

Excited For The Week

Tim Burton
This is going to be an exciting week!!  There are so many things happening.  Saturday it is the annual Soiree for Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy, which just gets better and better every year. A Tribute to Tim Burton is this year's theme.  It starts at 7pm at the African American Performing Arts Center on the State Fairgrounds.   I am the host again this year.  If you have never been to this event, it is amazing.  The talent of the students really blows me away.  There is so much creativity.  This is a Can't Miss event.

War Horse opens at Popejoy Hall this Tuesday and runs through Sunday.  If you have seen the movie, you know the main character is Joey the horse, so it is interesting how they will bring a puppet to life.  The puppeteers are said to be amazing in this production, and Popejoy is the perfect place to go see this performance.  There really is not one bad seat in the house.  Tickets are still available at and also

There is also something exciting happening at the Rail Yards this weekend.  Starting on Sunday, the Blacksmith Shop will be the location for a weekly Farmers Market.  There will be local farmers, food trucks, healers, teachers, musicians, and so much more.  This space is so cool.  The market will open at 9am and close at 3. The Rail Yards are a piece of Albuquerque history. And who could forget the infamous picture of Walter White surrounded by all his money taken in this location.  I am so glad that the city has revitalized it.  There is even going to be a UFC fight held in that space on May 10th.  It is the perfect setting.  The Rails are available to rent out for events.  My daughter Isabella wants to have her Sweet 16 party there next year.

If you know of any other cool events happening in the city this week, inbox me so I can help spread the word!!!

I Am So Excited I Can't Breathe!!!!

I am so happy and excited right now, I don't know what to do with myself.  Have you heard the news??  It is now official, Nordstrom Rack and DSW are coming to the Winrock Mall.
This is probably the best news I have heard in a long time, well, since they announced H&M coming to the Coronado Mall.  This is big news for Albuquerque.  My daughter, Isabella, has cheer competitions in Phoenix and Denver. I know one of the best parts of those trips are going to these 3 stores.  If you have never been to DSW before, you are in for a treat.  Not only do they have some of the best brands out there at incredible prices.  They also have a loyalty program, which is pretty spectacular since there are some places in town that don't even remember your name.
Nordstrom Rack has some great deals too, on exclusive designer labels that we can't always get here.  Look for names like Kate Spade New York, Chanel, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Michael Kors.   If you have seen Winrock lately you know construction is underway and it looks like it is going to be a hot spot once again.  Of course we already have the beautiful Regal Winrock Stadium 16, Mattress Firm, Dilliard's and BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse.  We are also waiting on a Dave & Buster's that is about to break ground in that area as well.  Now, we are going to have to wait awhile for these fabulous stores to open, but we've waited this long, what is another year.  Nordstrom Rack and DSW should be open by Fall of 2015.  Start saving up money now ladies, we have a shopping date next year!!!

Fresh Look on a Classic Product

I got the pleasure of talking to Connie Britton yesterday.  Best known for her work on Friday Night Lights, American Horror Story, and Nashville, Connie also has some of the most amazing skin I have seen on an actress.  You all know by now, I love anything that has to do with improving your skin.  So, I couldn't help myself, I asked her about her cleansing regime, and boy did she blow me away with her answer.

Connie swears by Pond's Products!!  Now I have used the Pond's Cleansing Towelettes to take my make-up off at night.  But Pond's Cold Creme Cleanser, Really??  Ponds brings to mind my Great Aunt who used to lather it on at night and then sleep in it!!  I could never understand how she could go to sleep at night and not wake up with it all over her pillow.  I tried to do it one night but my mom put the kabash on that with quickness...LOL.

So yesterday, on my way home, I decided to stop by CVS and take a look at the Pond's Products for myself.  I was surprised to find how many items the line has.  From make-up remover, to BB cream, to cleanser.  Now, normally I am a bubble lover when it comes to a cleanser but I decided to give the Cream Cleanser a try.  At first, I took all my make-up off with the Cleansing Towelettes, and it did a great job as ususal.  Then I used the Cleanser.  It was hard to get used to not having something foam up on my face.  I think in my head the foam makes me feel like I am getting a deeper clean.  But after washing the cream off my face, I have to admit, my skin felt wonderful.  Very soft and very clean.  It is actually 50% moistrizer and even worked on removing my waterproof mascara, which we all know can be difficult.  I really like this product and I will use it again.  I think my next purchase will be the Pond's BB Cream.  I would call Pond's Cream Cleanser a FIND!!!

Mardi Gras Wednesday

Dilliard's at the Cottonwood Mall is having a fun event tonight.  Mardi Gras kicks off at 5pm.  If you ever wanted a mini-makeover, or maybe just learn about some new products, this is the event for you.  All the make-up counters will participate, including MAC, Estee Lauder, Clinique, and Elizabeth Arden.  Lancome is also part of this event, which is fabulous, since they are now in the middle of their Free Gift with Purchase.  I recently went to Dawn at the Lancome counter for help.  I bought a new eye liner and wasn't quite sure how to use it.  She walked me through the application and now I am loving it.  I was able to pre-order a lip gloss and a bronzer to qualify for the gift.  I am picking it up tonight and will let you know all about it.  I don't usually use bronzer, but since I am planning a Girl's weekend in Vegas next month, I thought it might be nice to try it out.

I love to learn about new techniques with make-up and new ways to keep my skin looking good.  This is going to be the perfect night to try things out and see what really works.  I have found that the experts at Dilliard's really know their products inside and out.  It is one of my favorite places to go to buy new products.

There will also be door prizes given away.   You could win gift baskets loaded with amazing products.  There is also chances to win gift cards to the store with values up to $500.  There is even a chance to win a Michael Korrs basket tonight.  Refreshments will be served.  The event wraps up around 9pm.  I hope to see all my ladies out there tonight!!!

Time for Some Maintenence

A few years ago I decided to give Botox a try and see how it works.  I did some research and talked to some experts, and decided that I was willing to give it a try.  I love the results and actually found that a side benefit was relief from some of the headaches I have dealt with most of my life.  Which, by the way, was awesome!!  So this afternoon, I have an appointment with Dr. Mayberry.

I have no problem with wanting to better yourself.  I believe that everyone is beautiful, but if there is something about you that makes you unhappy, you have every rite in the world to change it.  For me, it is my pesky 11's above my nose and some of the wrinkles in my forehead.  I want to be very proactive when it comes to wrinkles so that way when I get older I won't have to worry as much.  Of course, making the call to a plastic surgeon can be intimidating.  So it got me thinking.  Ladies, do you have any questions you would like me to ask while I am in my appointment??  I would be more than happy to see what the Doctor has to say and then share the answers with you.  You can write them in the comment section of the blog or if you want to be more discreet feel free to inbox me.   I will post the answers towards the end of the week.  Wish me luck today.  I will take some before and after pictures as well so you can see the results.

5 More Days!!!

I am super excited!!!  The Ronald McDonald House Charities Girls Night Out is just 5 days away.  Ladies we are going to get pampered and enjoy a beautiful night at the Isleta Casino and I can hardly wait.  So many people are going to be there. This year, I am bringing my sister for the first time and I know we are going to have a great time!!  Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy and Mark Pardo will be on hand giving mini make-overs at the event.  We will also see fashion from Savvy and Runway Apparel.  Elixir Boutique Chocolates and Gold Rush Cupcakes will be handing out treats.  We will even see beautiful jewelry from Stella & Dot.  The list of indulgences goes on and on.  Tickets are still available at

Let me jump into the truth circle.  If you miss this event, you are truly going to be kicking yourself the next day.  Every year it gets bigger and better and there are many surprises planned this year as well, including lots of goody bags.  (Trust me, you are going to want to get there early)  It is the perfect night to buy some beautiful things, or maybe even make some connections for the future.

My best advice, get there early, take a walk around to see what vendors are there.  Take a little break and enjoy the delicious food and entertainment.  Then go back around and spend time at some of your favorite booths.  Whether you are looking for some new make-up ideas, a new boutique to shop at, or maybe a new wine to serve at dinner, you are going to find what you are looking for.

I will see you there!!!!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail.....

It is finally here, Easter weekend.  I love everything about Easter.  Church, Family, and candy.  All the things that are near and dear to my heart.  No Easter celebration is complete without an Easter Egg Hunt.  It is not too late, there are still a few hunts to let you know about.

Eggstravaganza at Hinkle

The Easter Eggstravaganza is happening at Hinkle Family Fun Center, 12391 Indian School.  This year it will be on the mini golf course which sounds awesome to me!!  There will be an egg decorating station, lots of candy, and of course a visit from the Easter Bunny himself.  This is a free event that kicks off Saturday morning at 11 and runs until 2pm.  Should be fun for the whole family.

Mama's Minerals will have their very own Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday.  Kids will hunt for eggs filled with tumbled stones, beads, fossils, and minerals too.  Bring your own basket so you can take your treasures home with you.  Space is limited on this one so you need to reserve your place today.  Cost is $3 per child.  You can call Mama's Minerals at (505) 266-8443.  They are located on the corner of Lomas and San Mateo.

The Easter Egg Hunt I will be attending will be at UNM right after the Lobo Softball game this Saturday.  It is just $2 for kids and regular admission for adults.  The ladies will take on UNLV.  You can enjoy the game and then directly after the Easter Bunny will come out and the hunt will begin.  For more information you can call 925-LOBO or go to  I would love to see you there!!!

Easter Enrichment is happening at the Rio Grande Zoo.  The animals will enjoy special papier-mache toys, egg shaped cereal bars, and other special treats.  You can help celebrate Easter with all the beautiful animals.  This event will be on Easter Sunday from 9:30  to 11:30am.  It is free with regular admission.

Wherever your plans take you this Easter Season I hope you have a joyous day.  Hug your family and take it all in.  Hugs to all of you!!!  Have a Blessed day.  Hugs, Kiki

Am I One of Those People Now??

You hear about the release date and you take a mental note.  You start to hear about the new features and you say to yourself, that would be cool.  And before you know it you are counting down the days until a new model of your phone will be in stores so you can be one of the first ones to have it.  I never thought I was one of those people, that I used to make fun of mind you, but I am now.

I just got my new Samsung S5 that was released on Friday and boy do I love it!!  I don't know how I ever lived without it.  This phone is sweet.  Now, of course, I am still not one of those techies that knows about every thing like mega pixels. What I do know is that the pictures I can take now are amazing.  I can do all my work on my phone, like emails, blogging, and reading.  The screen is a little bigger than the S4, but not so much that it takes a long time to get used to.  And Breaking Bad on Netflix  never looked so good.  I can edit home movies now and of course share everything.  I think what I love the most about new phones is that everyday you discover something new.  There is even a feature on this phone where you can actually take your heart rate and keep track of it.  You simple press an icon and hold you finger over a sensor on the back of the phone for a few seconds.  How cool is that???  It is a part of the S Health App.  I used it yesterday to keep track of how many steps I took and how many calories I burned through out the day.
Now I go through T-Mobile and I have had no problem what so ever.  I have been with them for almost 10 years and my service has been great.  I go to the location at Coors and Montano.  The only downfall is that I had my sales guy, Donald, for many years.  He was the greatest.  He always took the time to make sure I had the best plan that fit my needs, he made sure my phone was set up properly and that my contacts made it over, and he made sure I knew what I was doing by the time I left the store.  He has now moved on in his career.  So now when I go, I don't have the customer service that I am used to.  That being said, all the sales people are great at this location.  But Donald went above and beyond and spoiled me through out the years.  Needless to say, I miss him.  It is still the best location I have been to around town.

I would call the new Samsung S5 a FIND!!!

A Sweet Treat

Just a few of Their Deliciuos Treats
Girls Night Out presented by the Ronald McDonald Charities of New Mexico is less than 2 weeks away, and Gold Rush Cupcakes will be there handing out their delicious treats.  If you don't know about Gold Rush yet, you are missing out.  They are located in the heart of downtown Albuquerque, on the corner of 3rd and Copper, and they have some of the best and most creative cupcakes in town.

Melanie is the proud owner and really works with each customer to get them the exact cake they are looking for.  A few years ago I needed a cake for my husband's birthday.  He loves Oreo cookies.  I just told her what flavor cake I wanted and what he likes and Melanie created a one of a kind cake that the family still talks about to this day.  It was out of this world good!!

They even serve sandwiches and lunch items to enjoy on your breaks from work or to take home.  Everything is made fresh daily and every sandwich is a winner.  And if all the wonderful cupcakes and food wasn't enough, if you are super nice Melanie will give you one of the best hugs in Albuquerque.

Try Gold Rush Cupcakes today.  You can even check out their website for daily specials and different cupcake flavors at   Make sure to tell them Kiki sent you!!!

I Love a Great Surprise in the Mail

There is nothing more exciting than getting a great surprise in the mail.  We all receive magazines, and of course coupons from some of our favorite stores.  But the thing that I love the most is my monthly subsciption to Ipsy.  My niece Veronica first told me about this monthly make-up club around Christmas.  When you go to they first inform you that you will be on the waiting list and as soon as a spot opens up you are in, which just makes it more intriguing and fun to be a part of.  Then after a couple of days they tell you that you are in the club, but you won't get your first package until next month.  By this point, the anticipation is so great you could hardly contain your excitement.  Then you get the email that your order has shipped and you run to the mailbox every day until you get that beautiful pink bubble wrap package in the mail.

The April Glam Bag with Treats

This month my Ipsy was pretty cool.  There was a beautiful eye shadow brush, a lip pencil, eye shadow, and even a mini microdermabrasion cream.  And of course, a cute glam bag you can use for anything.  The brands are always big name products like Urban Decay, Benefit, and Dr. Brandt.  The monthly set typically contains 5 different products for you to try along with a glam bag.  There is also information on how you can order more of the product and sometimes even money saving coupons.  The best part, to bring this joy into you life only costs $10 a month.  And there is a discount if you pay for the whole year.  As soon as the package arrives, I rip mine open and go through all the goodies and then I text Veronica to tell her to go check the mail and see if her's arrived too.  It is so much fun to talk about the products and decide what we like the most.  I would say #ipsy is a FIND.  I think getting something in the mail that you actually look forward to is always a plus!!!

Fun Things in The Coming Week

I am working on a lot of great things in the coming week.  In the mood for something sweet??  I am going to tell you about a cupcake place in town that is going to knock your socks off.  And you will be able to sample their delicious treats at the upcoming Ronald McDonald House Charity's Girls Night Out on April 25th.

Easter is just a week away.  I am going to have some great ideas, including some fun activities for the kids and great places to have a family dinner.  And maybe even a visit from the Easter Bunny.

I am also going to tell you about the new Galaxy S5 phone that just came out on Friday.  I just received mine from T-Mobile and I have to say this phone is SWEET!!!

Plus I just got a surprise in the mail that I can't wait to share with you.  I will tell you how you can get one of your very own.

And we will finish off the week taking a trek to Chimayo, as we celebrate Easter and come together to celebrate with family and friends.

I am super excited about the week and I hope you are too.  Tell me what great things you are up to and if you have any places that you think are a FIND that you want to share with the rest of us, just send me a message.

My Name is Kiki, and I Have A Problem.......

My name is Kiki, and I have a problem.  I can't get enough make-up.  I buy it at the drug store, I buy it at the department store, I buy it online, and I even get it in the mail every month.  There is something about the beautiful colors.  I can't help myself.  I just pass it by and it calls out my name like a mistress in the dark.  That is why when I first get the flyer in the mail that it is bonus time once again I start feeling weak. Then I go to work and hear the ad on the radio.  The announcer, in her cute raspy voice reminds me, it is bonus time and I find myself planning my next trip to the mall.  "I will just take my niece Sophia because she loves to go shopping" is the excuse I use.  But we all know the real reason is because I just can't resist.   I don't need anything but what could it hurt to just take a look.  And then it happens.  I find the one product that I don't have that I just can't live without.  And since I am getting a free gift along with my purchase, what could it hurt to pick the perfect color that matches my eyes??!!

Superprimer by Clinique
This, my friends, is what happened to me recently at Macy's.  But I have to say, I have been wanting to try a foundation primer for quite some time.  I might as well buy it when I can get not one, but two cute make-up bags and some mini products that I can take on vacation with me.

Bonus Gift at Macy's

I decided on the Superprimer in Universal.  I tried it yesterday morning, and I saw the difference right away.  You smooth it onto your face before you put on your foundation.  It evens out the skin and helps the foundation set better.  I loved the look.  Since I wake up so early, I feel that by 11am my make-up is starting to wear off.  With the primer, I didn't feel the need to do any touch ups.  I just swiped my face with a little pressed powder and I was good to go.  The different Colour Correct Primers help with Dullness, Redness, Sallowness, and Discolourations.  The price point is around $27 which is not bad considering a little goes a long way.  After wrestling with the decision to add another step to my daily make-up routine, I would say the answer is yes, a primer is the right decision.  I would call Superprimer by Clinique a FIND.

An Oasis in Our Bustling City

We watched as they built a new hotel right near I-25 while we were sitting in afternoon traffic and having daydreams of getting away from it all and relaxing by the pool.  Well you know what, The Hampton Inn at I-25 near Jefferson is all built now and is the perfect place to do just that, get away from it all.

Built with State of the Art capabilities, this spacous hotel is placed right in the middle of the action.  Just minutes from Cliff's, you can take the family on the weekend and have a mini-vacay.  Or you can have a romantic date night and surprise your significant other after you take them to one of the many restaurants located all around this beautiful hotel.  It is also perfect for the business person travelling from another city.  It has all the comforts of home and all the things you need to conduct business while you are away from the office.  It even has a complete business center with a 1400 sq.ft. meeting room that holds up to 79 people.  If you are looking to unwind or maybe release some stress, there is a fitness room, pool, and hot tub all waiting for you.

Relaxing Pool & Hot Tub

I also think this would be the perfect hotel for out of town guests coming to a wedding.  It is small enough that you could spend some quality time with your loved ones, but big enough that you could also disappear for a few hours if you wanted.  It is just minutes from all of the big highlights in town.  Balloon  Fiesta Park, Sandia Peak, and Old Town.

One of the Beautiful Rooms

My partner on the radio in the morning, Carlos, stayed here and he loved it.  He said it was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious.  I am planning a surprise here, but more to come on that later.  I would definitely say this is a FIND.  Jay Blount, the property manager, will take good care of you.  Just tell him you are a friend of Kiki's.

I Want To Go Shopping!!!

A Beautiful Pencil Dress
I take care of my niece every Wednesday, and even though she is just 2 years old, the first thing she always asks me to do is go shopping.   Even at an early age Sophia knows that shopping is one of the greatest things about being a girl.  So this week I took her to the Cottonwood Mall to look around.  I was so surprised to see one of my favorite stores from downtown had moved into the mall.  I was first introduced to 66 Pin-Ups a few years ago when it was located not too far from my office and I fell in love with the clothes.  It is an instant flashback to the fabulous outfits people got to enjoy in the 50's.

How much fun is this dress??

They have everything from bathing suits, to dresses, to shoes, and even some fashions for your husband too.  I think now that they are located in the Cottonwood Mall it is going to be so much easier for people to access the store, I know I will go shopping there a lot more.  I am willing to bet we are going to see a lot more ladies out there rockin' these cool dresses, which personally I think would be awesome.  There is something about the pencil dresses or the full skirts that just makes me happy.  I am about to go to Vegas next month and I am going to buy one of the cool bathing suits to bring with me.  How much fun is this black & white dress??  The price point is not bad, you could put together a great outfit for around $100.

You can check out 66 Pin-Ups on the lower level of the Cottonwood Mall right by Macy's.  Say hi to Joyce and tell her Kiki sent you.

Bye Bye Red!!!

The change of season, warmer weather and sunshine always makes me want to make big changes in my life.  This year it was time to do something drastic.  Time to say bye bye to the red hair and hello to a lighter look.  My stylist Denise, at Casa Verde, agreed so we embarked on a 4 hour journey to get the red out and put the highlights in.  The first hour was spent washing the red out and conditioning my hair so it wouldn't feel dry at the end.  Since Denise and I  both love Bravo, our time together always goes by fast as we talk about all the drama with the Housewives.

Getting rid of the red

Foil Time

Denise then starting in on the color.  I must admit I was getting anxious sitting there, anticipating what my new color would look like.
Would I love it??   Am I making a mistake??  Will I wonder why the heck I was ever a red head in the first place??  After sitting through the foils, the color, the waiting time for the color to set, it was finally the moment of truth.  Denise always styles my hair with my back to the mirror, which I love.  As a huge reality show fan, I LIVE for the BIG reveal.  She put a few curls in the the back and then spun me around.  I could not believe my eyes!!  My color was amazing!!!  I had the highlights I wanted and could still see a touch of red underneath.  I am one of those people who think the more color you have in your head the better.  I love how everyone's color is unique.

Loving my new look

I have never been happier.  I am now close to being a blonde and it is perfect.  I can't wait to hit the strip in Vegas next month with my Bestie and enjoy the coming summer months with my brand new head of hair.  I feel like a complete new person.  If you love the color or maybe you are looking for a new hair stylist, I recommend Denise.  She has been doing my hair for over a year now and has never let me down.  You can reach her by calling Casa Verde Spa at (505) 881-0464.

What was the most drastic thing you did in your life to celebrate the changing of the season??  Let us know.  You never know who you are going to inspire to make a big change in their life.

Dream Come True

Designing your own purse may seem like a dream come true.   Finding the right sytle and color, and one that is not too big and not too small always stresses me out.   So when I first found out about the company Too Cute Totes I was intrigued.  The basic concept of Too Cute is getting the right purse for you that is as unique as you are.  There are different styles to choose from, but the thing I love the most is that you can also pick your own material.  All the purses are handmade to be exactly what you love.  I picked out the perfect purse for me.  How adorable is this??!!!

Kenidee Purse

Too Cute Totes was started just 8 years ago by a woman from Los Alamos, Karen Scott.  She found herself with time on her hands and decided to start sewing as a hobby.  After creating a beautiful purse for herself, friends started asking where she got it because it was just 'too cute'.  And that is where the idea to go into business creating these one of a kinds began.  Now Karen has 20 styles to choose from with over 400 patterns you can use.  Many people mix and match the outside and inside.  They are perfect for gifts, she even has one that is a diaper bag along with a changing pad to match.  You can create your own style with the pockets you want.  They can even embroider something on the outside like a company name if you wish.   The sizes range from make-up bag to travel bag.  We do have a representative right here in town, Mercedes Wharton.  You can have a purse party or you could just pick out the perfect purse for you.  You can even go online and look at all the beautiful fabrics there are to choose from.  The totes do take 6-8 weeks for delivery and are made by hand by 4 craftsman hard at work in Nevada.

Touch My Hair, Isn't It Soooo Soft???!!!

It is not going to take you long to figure out, I am a product junkie.  I love it all!!!  Make-up, hair products, lotions, potions, and everything in between.  I like to try everything, but when I find something I love, I stick with it for life.  For the past few years, I have colored my hair red.  Anyone with color treated hair, especially red, understands it is hard to keep it smooth and silky.  I use a lot of dry shampoo and try not to wash it too much.  But when I do, I need something that is really going to nurish it.  I recently went to Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy to get a braid done in my hair.  While I was there I was talking to one of the students about my hair needs.  It has been feeling dry lately and I needed something to repair it.  She recommended Resurrection Shampoo from Bed Head by TIGI.
I used it over the weekend and could not believe the results.  You know when you have a day when you are telling everyone to touch your hair to feel how soft it is??  Well Saturday was that day for me.  I used Urban Antidote #3 Shampoo and Conditioner and the results were immediate.  In a world of so many products for your hair, This is on top of my list of products to stick with,  I would call it a FIND.  It ia perfect for weak and brittle hair.  It zeros in on the dry, damaged hair and brings it back to life.  The conditioner even has Thermal Protection from harsh conditions.  I would totally recommend this product.  For the complete line of Bed Head products visit Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy located at Uptown.
